Network Assessment & Bill Audit

NetFarm performs a comprehensive rate and tariff analysis and bill reconciliation for all telecom (voice and data) expenses. We routinely recover historical credits, create ongoing cost reductions and prepare recommendations that will generate future savings. Audits are performed on a contingency fee basis. When refunds or credits are obtained from a vendor, our fee is a percentage of the refund/credit gained through our efforts. Historically, we will identify excess cost in nearly 95% of the clients we audit. We are not embarrassed to tell a client after completing an audit that we cannot provide value to their organization. Instead, we will compliment your team and their ability to control this expense. Either way, it is a win/win situation.

It today’s telecom world, carrier sales representatives are compensated on GROWTH and one-time sales only. They have NO incentive to lower a customer’s network services. Telecom audits have become a necessity. Once the audit is performed – all services are documented and benchmarked.

Telecom Audit

Telecom auditing is an essential part of the overall plan to reduce telecom costs. A retroactive telecom audit may uncover billing errors that result in large refunds or credits from your carriers. Our telecom and wireless auditing team will validate invoices to contracted rates, identify over-payments, discover billing errors and then work with the carriers to get your refund or credit in a timely matter.

What is the Telecom Audit Process?

Phase I: Gathering information, such as total telecom expenditures, provider(s) and contract term(s).

Phase II: Analyzing contracts and invoices.

Phase III: Developing a findings report based upon the analysis.Phase IV: Implementing the customer-approved refund and/or savings attainment activities.

How long does a telecom audit take?

The length of the audit process depends on the size and complexity of the customer and their telecom infrastructure, but typically the audit takes 30 to 90 days from the time client invoices, contracts and related materials are assembled. It may take one or more billing cycles for recovery of credits.

How much money can be saved?

The savings for the audit varies depending on the customer and their specific telecom infrastructure. Across various industry categories, customers typically have saved from 5 percent to 45 percent of their monthly telecom budget.
